Hi I’m Hazel, an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), postnatal doula, holistic sleep coach and developmental baby massage teacher. I’ve spent many years supporting babies and families, both within the NHS and independently, with a particular focus on infant feeding, breastfeeding, early development and the transition into parenthood.
My business, Breastfeeding Unlimited, began with a simple belief: breastfeeding support should help remove barriers, not create more of them. Over the years, my work has naturally grown beyond feeding. I’ve added postnatal doula support and holistic sleep coaching because I’ve seen first-hand how closely feeding, sleep, recovery, development and parental wellbeing are connected.
My approach is evidence-informed, practical and non-judgemental. I don’t believe there is one “right” way to feed, settle or parent a baby. Instead, I take the time to understand each family, offering personalised support that fits their baby, their circumstances and their goals.
I also love working collaboratively. I’m currently partnering with Laura, a postnatal doula, and Emma, a paediatric chiropractor, to provide courses, groups and support for parents and babies. Bringing different areas of expertise together allows us to support families from a number of perspectives while keeping the individual family at the heart of what we do.
Whether I’m supporting a family one-to-one or in a group, my aim is simple: to help parents feel informed, supported and more confident as they find their own way through those early years.

Hazel was great at supporting with my first few days post partum and reassuring my husband and I. She helped me to shift my mindset from worrying about multiple things to
being focused on just the most important things required on a day to day basis. She noticed that I was distressed by having a disorderly home and reassured me that it is normal for tasks to need to be set aside and helped to shape my mindset towards that.
She taught us invaluable tips and tricks to calm our baby, and her knowledge about breastfeeding helped us to get started on our journey, particularly when we had trouble
feeding the baby in the beginning Just having Hazel in to look after the baby while I needed an hour nap was also invaluable

Hazel brought expertise, support and encouragement into our lives. I will forever be grateful and cannot recommend her highly enough. I had a very tough first month and was on track for postnatal depression until I had Hazel in my corner for lactation and sleep expertise. Now I have a healthy, happy little boy and vitally I feel happy and healthy myself!

Hazel was with me through those first few weeks, helping me navigate the transition from pregnancy to the newborn stage. That first night I came back home I called her, as we were a bit overwhelmed by handling a baby. She responded immediately, and made that effort to come over so late in the night. And another time I needed immediate help, she did the same. I appreciated that. My biggest fears were regarding how to approach motherhood, concerns over forming a good attachment with the child, breastfeeding, plus impact on myself and my partner as we transitioned. Hazel's one quality is her intuitive approach to what is needed. It is relaxing. I found the conversations pretty informative too. Looking back, I realise that kind of support had made it the most relaxed I've been in my three months journey into parenthood...! A big thanks to Hazel.

A big thank you for everything you have done for us. You are the reason I am still breastfeeding, nearly 9 months on. You have been so reassuring, supportive and encouraging, building my confidence during the early days when I did not know what I was doing. You have been so generous with your time, and your weekly visitsAF to do baby massage. Just knowing you were coming made me feel so much calmer and much less anxious about everything from feeding to nap schedules. We really appreciate the kindness you have shown us.
